Andrew R. Verriere Appointed to Contra Costa County Bar Association Board of Directors

ORINDA, Calif., Mar. 18, 2021 – Hartog, Baer & Hand (HBH) Principal Andrew R. Verriere has been appointed to the Contra Costa County Bar Association (CCCBA) Board of Directors.

Since 1934, the CCCBA has served members of the legal profession in the Contra Costa County jurisdiction and in Northern California generally. With 22 different sections, the organization offers numerous pro bono opportunities, educational events, legal fundraisers, bench/bar events, social and networking functions and MCLE credit programs to its vast member base.

Verriere focuses his practice on trust and estate litigation, conservatorship litigation, financial elder abuse, and appeals. He has significant experience in all stages of disputes, including counseling clients before litigation, representing clients at alternative dispute resolution negotiations, conducting trials, and pursuing appeals. He also serves as a court-appointed referee in cases with complex discovery and as court-appointed counsel for proposed conservatees. Verriere serves on the board for the CCCBA President’s Committee on Membership and the California Lawyer’s Association Trusts and Estates Section Litigation Subcommittee. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
